Description

Your responsibilities

As a ServiceDesk Engineer, you will be part of our Corporate IT team to help troubleshoot problems in our network our ELCA Group, Globally. You will work on:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the ticketing system
  • Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers, troubleshoot system and network problems
  • Install and configure computer, operating systems and applications
  • Replace parts as required
  • Support the roll-out of new IT devices and applications, ensure protection of computer facilities 
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

Your mission includes delivering professional and timely services in relation with all office IT infrastructure

You work with Level 2 Experts in Europe to develop strategies, standards, roadmaps, and infrastructure directions.

Your qualifications

  • Good communication skills and advanced level of spoken and written English.
  • An IT certificate or other equivalent diploma, and have at least 2-3 years of experience in IT services.
  • Manage Users & Group Active Directory and cloud.
  • Knowledge of desktop operating systems: Linux, Windows OS, and Mac OS.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills.
  • Self-study on new technology and willing to improve on technical skills.
  • An ability to adapt to different demands.
  • A high working discipline.
  • Litterate in monitoring, operating systems, networking and database technologies (e.g. Linux, VMWare, Docker, Ansible).
  • Advocate of the client oriented mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience working for a foreign company
  • Certifications on Amazon AWS / Azure
  • Experience (functional or technical) with GLPI
  • PHP / MySQL / JavaScript / xHTML / CSS / Composer / NPM
