Your day at NTT DATA

As an AI Engineer (Generative AI & Agent Systems), you will design and build intelligent agent-based solutions powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and cutting-edge frameworks. You’ll work on creating scalable AI applications that transform how businesses operate.
Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Generative AI into products and services.
  • Design and implement agent workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, Vertex AI, Claude SDK, and Microsoft Agent Framework.
  • Develop APIs and backend services in Python (FastAPI/Flask).
  • Deploy AI applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP using Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
  • Optimize prompts, fine-tune LLMs, and implement MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for monitoring and lifecycle management.

​To thrive in this role, you need to have:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with asynchronous programming.
  • Hands-on expertise in Generative AI & LLMs (RAG, fine-tuning).
  • Familiarity with agent design patterns (ReAct, Chain-of-Thought, planning).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and containerization.
  • Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work in a global, fast-paced environment.
Experience levels:
  • Junior (1–2 yrs): Build agent tasks, write/test prompts, assist with deployments.
  • Mid-Level (3–5 yrs): Design workflows, optimize prompts, mentor juniors.
  • Senior (5+ yrs): Architect multi-agent systems, define best practices, lead large-scale deployments.
Academic qualifications and certifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fields
  • Scrum / Project Management certification preferred.
