JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing and operating cloud-based data platforms on AWS/Azure, delivering scalable data pipelines, analytics solutions, and integrating applied AI/LLM capabilities to support business and smart factory use cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement large-scale data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Build and manage data pipelines including ETL/ELT processes, data transformations, and service APIs.
• Develop and maintain data models supporting analytics and business intelligence use cases.
• Work with data integration, data virtualization, and analytics technologies on enterprise data platforms.
• Perform data analysis to support production, reporting, and advanced analytics.
• Develop and deploy Machine Learning and Deep Learning solutions for Smart Factory use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data, AI, Engineering, Business) in Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ensure data quality, performance, security, and scalability across data solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS; familiarity with Azure is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of data architecture including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse.
• Strong experience in data integration (ETL/ELT) and data modeling (OLTP, OLAP).
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience using data libraries such as pandas and numpy.
• Experience working with analytics and BI tools, especially Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, NoSQL, and cloud storage (S3, Blob Storage).
• Experience with AI-related technologies such as LLMs, embeddings, search indexes, or cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI) is a plus.
• Good English communication skills, able to present and explain technical solutions clearly.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, self-organized, and open to learning new technologies.
