What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with the team to understand business requirements and expected system behaviors.
• Develop and maintain software that correctly meets expected behaviors.
• Develop and maintain software according to COG’s coding standards and guidelines and industry best practices.
• Identify root cause of bugs and apply fixes that meet the coding standards and guidelines.
• Work across the full stack from front-end, server-side logic, and database.
• Participate in software design sessions to learn and ask questions.
• Review and feedback code to ensure the design and implementation is of high quality.
• Thoroughly test own code before submission for pull request.
• Attend the relevant Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand up, retrospective, etc.)

Key Criteria

• 3-4 years of experience with .NET FW/Core, ASP.NET MVC/Core, EF/EF Core, SQL, and frontend (HTML, CSS JavaScript).
• 2 years of experience in a front-end framework is highly desirable e.g. Angular, Vue, and in code reviews.
• Familiar with software design principles (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI) and design patterns.
• Strong attention to detail including business requirements, system behaviours, acceptance criteria, coding side effects, etc.
• Good analytical skills with min 2 years working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Work setup:

• Ho Chi Minh City (Ree Tower, Xom Chieu Ward): Vietnam business hours (9 am – 6 pm) with a hybrid setup (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
