Medior Java Engineer

Instaclustr was founded in 2013 with the sole purpose of helping companies unlock the power of open source technologies. 

In this exciting time of growth, we’re currently in search of a Java Engineer to join our Development team here at Instaclustr. We provide open-source applications as-a-service, delivering reliability at scale. We manage cutting edge open-source technologies (Cassandra, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Valkey, OpenSearch, Cadence and ClickHouse) for our customers around the world. 

We have developed a platform that takes care of the whole lifecycle: provisioning infrastructure, installing applications and, most importantly, keeping the applications running reliably in production. Our customers run 24x7 and our business does too, with our operations team spread across the globe to supply fast, expert support and operational responses.    

• You'll be working within a development team of between 3 to 8 team members.

• Your team leader will look to you as their most capable team member and will depend on you for input and advice on many areas of the team’s operation. 

• To keep you motivated and excited about the work you are completing, our software engineers are rotated between development teams, granting you exposure to a variety of technologies, experiences and perspectives.
