Company Description

Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

Job Description

1. Process system maintenance:

The highest point of escalation for troubleshooting issues related to technical aspects independently w/o support from the lead plant.

Create and refine work instruction, maintenance plans and spare part preparation

Perform root-cause failure analysis on breakdown and abnormal asset operation

2. Problem solving, Continuous improvement

Lead/support the Problem solving to resolve recurring, issues related to technical aspects with or without support

Implement changes and improvement based on the existing process/ MAE/ parts (with or w/o ECR) to increase maintenance efficiency

3. Training and mentorship

Prepare the training materials, Conduct training and assess skill level for Technicians.

4. Join to the project team to invest new lines or release new product

5. Collaboration & Cross-functional support

Act as a technical resource for cross-functional teams, providing expertise in technical aspects

Lead/support the digital transformation based on plant focus topic or nominations

6. Others task assigned by manager

Qualifications

1. Education

Bachelor of engineering in mechanical, mechatronics or related field

2. Work experience

Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing plant and maintenance filed

Experience to lead working teams on scope of continuous improvement projects.
