PURPOSE

To assist IT Infra Director in managing, maintaining, and monitoring the company's server systems both on-cloud and on-premises. This includes ensuring that systems and DB are backed up, secured from unauthorized access, and operations are efficient to support business growth. Additionally, it involves managing and maintaining on-premises Data Center and DR Site, providing level-2 support for company users.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the adoption, migration, and management of company cloud platforms.
  • Ensure company cloud platforms align with business, technology functions, company compliance, regulators, and government requirements.
  • Apply security controls, including performing security patching, hot-fixes, and applying security baselines for on-Cloud and on-Premises systems.
  • Monitor server health, server performance, and audit logs.
  • Perform system backups and recovery to serve BCP and various purposes.
  • Install new software, patches, and upgrades for new projects, maintaining existing systems to ensure production systems work stably.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system software/hardware and networking issues.
  • Monitor and operate backup systems to ensure company data is backed up and recoverable for both on-cloud and on-premises.
  • Support IT infrastructure for BCP/DR drills.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in the IT field
  • At least 5 years of IT experience.
  • Good knowledge & experience in the service management lifecycle from development to retirement.
  • Good knowledge & experience in hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premise and cloud-based systems.
  • Good knowledge & experience in HCI, Virtualization deployment.
  • Good knowledge & experience in working on multiple SAN and NAS storage products and SAN switches.
  • Good knowledge & experience in working on multiple Backup Software and Backup Appliances preferably Veritas NetBackup.
  • Ability to communicate and understand technical infrastructure and architecture concepts.

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong practical Windows/ Linux based system administration skills in cloud or virtualization environments (Hyper-V / VMware).
  • Proficiency in knowledge of Windows servers/workstations with practical skills in OS installation, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Azure Entra (Microsoft Entra ID), Active Directory, and identity federation solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or other endpoint management tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft GPOs and Windows OS registry.
  • Proficiency in Azure portal, PowerShell, and CLI for identity configuration.
  • Proficiency in general cybersecurity practices within Microsoft environments.
  • Understanding of protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and WS-Federation.
  • Holding Microsoft 365, Cloud (Azure/AWS), VCP-DVC, RHCSA/LPI certificates is an advantage.
