  • Manage and oversee all project management activities to support internal and external site.

  • Manage product development work packages throughout the course of the project.

  • Serve as primary contact/liaison to customer with regards to all product development related topics; identify information/data and resources needed by customer, and ensure timely transfer of such information between appropriate department/team and the customer.

  • Present project progress with regards to product development to the customer and internal management.

  • Work with engineering teams design (System, Hw, Sw, ME, Test, Reliability), in addition to other departments such as purchasing, quality, and sales, in order to support business development, capacity, and continuity.

  • Plan, manage and release product configuration levels in cooperation with the extended project team.

  • Manage prototype builds and ensure adherence to Timeline, customer design requests and Changes.

  • Ensure product maturity targets are achieved as well as all product development-related project objectives (i.e. customer requirements, timing & cost budget).

  • Facilitate/conduct project meetings regularly in conjunction with core team, support staff, and managers, and discuss updates on assigned tasks and project targets and milestones.

  • Compile technical customer requirements and ensure customer buy-in and agreement.

  • Create product specifications together with R&D/ Product Development departments.

  • Ensure effective change management process with respect to cost analysis and engineering change implications (i.e. quotations, validations, timing, communications to affected departments/groups).

  • Develop project plans (MS Project or other Management tools as Codebeamer or Jira) and update metrics to track and report the status of the project to management as well as TOP Manager representatives.

  • Prepare for and present status of product development work packages at project gate reviews (including corrective actions if necessary).

  • Compile and document all lessons learned from the project.

  • Manage risk management activities and ensure the effective hand-off of any open points/issues.

  • Participate in the development and continuous improvement of departmental guidelines and procedures.

  • Ensure departmental compliance with all ISO9001/ASPICE requirements, policies, closely cooperate with QA team and TOP Manager directives to perform other duties as assigned.

  • Requirements

    • Minimum Bachelors of Science, Computer, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years of work experience as project manager or similar roles in the automotive industry
    • Experience in managing automotive related project is essential
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as electrical/software/mechanical engineer or related positions
    • Ability to manage the different phases of the project life cycle, budgets, contracts, schedule, etc.
    • Good knowledge in the areas of product development processes and quality assurance
    • Knowledge of IATF16949/ ISO 9001 and/or ASPICE will be added advantage
    • Ability to prioritize and manage pressure
    • Good communication skills, excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Excellent in English and Vietnamese, both in speaking and writing
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
