About the Role
Sunbytes is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to take on a strong leadership role in guiding both project execution and team development. This is a full-time position requiring a solid background in software development, Agile & Scrum processes, and client-facing communication.
As the Senior Technical Project Manager, you will lead Agile software development projects, ensuring smooth execution, aligning teams with business objectives, and maintaining seamless client communication. In addition to overseeing project delivery, you will play a key leadership role in the local development team, fostering a high-performance culture, mentoring team members, and ensuring alignment with the companyβs vision and values.
This role requires a proactive leader who can optimize workflows, drive innovation, and empower the team, ensuring both project success and a strong connection between the client and the development team.
Requirements
- Inspire and align the team with the clientβs vision, mission, and values by ensuring clear communication of business objectives, fostering ownership, and driving a shared sense of purpose.
- Lead Agile & Scrum processes by facilitating sprints, tracking tasks in Jira, and ensuring smooth execution while aligning development efforts with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership by understanding and addressing development challenges, ensuring best practices, and guiding the team in making informed technical decisions.
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders by translating technical discussions into clear, actionable insights for the client while managing expectations and priorities.
- Identify and mitigate risks early by proactively solving potential bottlenecks, communicating trade-offs to stakeholders, and ensuring project continuity.
- Continuously improve processes by refining Agile workflows, fostering a collaborative team culture, and encouraging best practices.
Technical skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, successfully leading Agile software teams.Proven ability to optimize development workflows, drive technical decision-making, and enhance team productivity.
- Expertise in Agile & Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and Jira tracking.
- Strong technical understanding of how to evaluate and communicate development challenges and solutions effectively.
- Experience in risk and issue management, with the ability to proactively identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
