Senior IT Business Analyst (onsite in Danang/ Hanoi, e-commerce domain)

Job Description

As a Business Analyst at SmartDev, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze, document, and design solutions that drive the success of our clients’ e-commerce projects.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, PM, and developers, to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for the development team.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with clients to understand their goals, processes, and workflows.
• Analyze current systems, workflows, and pain points to propose enhancements and optimizations.
• Ensure that project deliverables align with the overall business objectives and meet the agreed-upon quality standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Support testing efforts by reviewing test cases, participating in UAT, and ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Assist in managing project scope, timelines, and risks to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field is preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the e-commerce domain.
• Excellent communication in both English & Vietnamese
• Strong understanding of e-commerce processes, platforms, and best practices.
• Experience in working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation, including user stories, requirements specifications, and process flows.
• Proficiency with business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with major e-commerce platform

Knowledge of API integrations, data flows, and system architecture.

Familiarity with UX/UI principles and how they impact business requirements.
