About the Role:

Sunbytes is looking for a Senior Front-end Developer (ReactJS) to work with our client, who is a leading company that delivers solutions for the floating offshore oil and gas industry. This job is based at the client office in Ho Chi Minh City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data, etc.) to turn requirements into technical tasks.
• Contribute to UI/UX discussions and suggest practical tech solutions.
• Build and maintain UI components following internal design standards.
• Apply creative thinking to solve interface and user experience challenges.
• Help design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architecture.
• Write clean, reliable code using best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Support issue resolution in production environments.
• Identify risks or blockers and propose effective solutions.
• Communicate architectural decisions and technical trade-offs clearly.

Job Requirements

Technical skills:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, ideally with React.js
• Strong academic credentials in Comp Science/IT from top universities in Vietnam, or equivalent from foreign universities.
• Experience building complex enterprise software across multiple teams or business units
• Exposure to backend development (e.g., Python/Django) is a plus
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
• Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud technologies

Nice to have:

• Start-up experience
• Familiarity with the Oil & Gas industry

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and explore innovative solutions
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across diverse teams
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
