As our Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you will be the key driver behind content marketing initiatives, collaborating with various departments like Sales, Pre-Sales, Production, and other functional teams. You will oversee the creation and execution of content strategies that impact company branding, website traffic, generate inbound leads, and produce sales collateral to support SmartDev’s growth in the IT outsourcing and AI solutions space.

Job Description

Role Overview: 

As the Senior Content Marketing Specialist at SmartDev, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our content strategy. This role will be responsible for creating and executing high-impact content that promotes SmartDev’s brand, drives customer engagement, and supports business development goals across digital channels. You will be the primary architect of SmartDev’s content marketing efforts, ensuring that our messaging aligns with our mission and resonates with our target audience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute SmartDev’s overall content marketing strategy, focusing on driving brand awareness, lead generation, and engagement. 
  • Lead content creation across various formats, including blogs, case studies, white papers, email newsletters, social media posts, webinars, video testimonials and more. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, product, and engineering to create content that supports both business and customer needs. 
  • Ensure all content is aligned with SEO best practices to enhance organic visibility and drive conversions. SEO is a key strategy for SmartDev, and we explore innovative techniques like Google AI Overview and Answer Engine Optimization to stay ahead of trends. By leveraging AI-driven tools, we continuously improve search rankings and align content with user intent 
  • Oversee content distribution on SmartDev’s website, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and maximum audience reach. 
  • Analyze content performance metrics, track KPIs such as website traffic, social media growth, inbound leads, and sales collateral performance, adjusting strategies to optimize results. 
  • Develop and manage content for sales collateral, ensuring alignment with sales and business development goals. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitor content strategies, and emerging technologies to ensure SmartDev’s content remains relevant and competitive. 

Key Metrics to Track: 

  • Website Traffic: Monitor and optimize content for growth in web traffic, ensuring content aligns with SEO best practices. 
  • Social Media Growth: Drive engagement and follower growth on SmartDev’s LinkedIn and other social platforms. 
  • Inbound Leads: Measure the effectiveness of content in generating inbound leads and contributing to sales pipeline growth. 
  • Sales Collateral: Create impactful sales materials that align with marketing objectives and support sales efforts. 
  • Branding Activities: Evaluate content’s contribution to overall branding and awareness across all digital touchpoints. 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in content marketing, preferably within the IT or tech industry. 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills in English. IELTS 7.5 and above.  
  • Strong understanding of SEO and content optimization techniques. 
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, email marketing system, webinar and video tool and especially marketing automation tools. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple content projects simultaneously. 
  • A strategic thinker who can connect content initiatives with broader business objectives. 
  • Knowledge or experience in AI, software development, or IT outsourcing is a strong advantage.
