Senior Backend Engineer (Go/Golang) – IT Lead

1. Job Description

   • Own the stability, maintenance, and evolution of internal commerce systems built on Go (Golang).

   • Keep production systems running reliably: Order Management, Stock Management, Warehouse, Packaging, Reporting.

   • Handle bug fixes, performance tuning, and incident response.

   • Maintain integrations with Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, Tiki, and brand websites (webhook + REST APIs).

   • Collaborate with Korean and overseas development partners to redesign and extend the current system into an ERP-class platform.

   • Translate business requirements (from Operations, Finance, Warehouse, Marketing) into clear technical specs.

   • Drive architectural improvements: DB normalization, multi-DB strategy, observability, high availability.

   • Use AI development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, or equivalent) as a core part of daily workflow.

   • Apply AI to accelerate code review, debugging, documentation, and feature development.

   • Plan, estimate, and track your own development work.

   • Maintain technical documentation (architecture, runbooks, SOPs, change logs).

   • Coordinate with external development partners: define scope, review deliverables, manage timelines.

   • If business growth requires more development capacity, help scope and onboard additional internal or external developers.

2. Requirements

   • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.

   • Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) — or strong experience in another modern backend language (Java, Python, Node.js) with demonstrated ability to ramp up on Go quickly.

   • Solid SQL and relational database experience (MySQL preferred).

   • Comfortable reading, understanding, and refactoring legacy code.

   • Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux, and VPS/cloud deployment.

   • Ability to analyze a system end-to-end and identify weak points — not just write features.

   • Working business English (written + spoken) for direct collaboration with Korean and overseas partners.

   • Strongly Preferred: Hands-on experience using AI coding tools in real production work.

   • Strongly Preferred: Experience integrating with e-commerce platform APIs (Shopee / TikTok / Lazada / Tiki).

   • Strongly Preferred: Experience with Redis, JWT auth, webhook-driven event processing.

   • Strongly Preferred: Experience managing or working with external development partners.

   • Additional: Background in retail, e-commerce, or logistics systems.

   • Additional: Experience with ERP-class systems.
