THE ROLE

As a Project Manager (Middle), you will be the operational backbone of the team, responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of our strategic initiatives. You are a master of process, a facilitator of collaboration, and a proactive problem-solver. You will ensure that our development teams can work efficiently and effectively by managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and optimizing workflows within our SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. Your role is critical in transforming our product vision into a tangible reality, ensuring we deliver high-quality features on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiative Execution: Drive the planning and execution of key initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the product roadmap. Proactively manage and update the roadmap to reflect current priorities and progress.
  • Dependencies Management: Identify, track, and manage cross-team dependencies to minimize bottlenecks. Foster smooth collaboration between engineering, product, design, and other internal or external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving: Anticipate potential project risks and proactively address challenges. Act as a primary facilitator in removing roadblocks that hinder team progress, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization: Continuously refine and enhance team workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. Champion best practices and ensure adherence to the SAFe framework, actively supporting the Dev Lead and Product Manager during agile ceremonies (e.g., PI Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives).
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and transparent communication with leadership, technical teams, and other stakeholders. Ensure all parties are aligned on goals, timelines, and decision- making processes.
  • Integration & Release Management: Coordinate the end-to-end integration and release process. This includes managing checklists, securing QA sign-off, overseeing deployments, conducting post-launch monitoring, and preparing rollback plans and release notes in collaboration with partners.
  • Reporting: Support the OKR Champion and Release Train Engineer (RTE) by diligently tracking and reporting on the team's progress, performance, and key metrics.
  • Incident Management: In collaboration with the Release & Integration Manager, assist in the triage of production incidents and help manage stakeholder communication during critical events.
  • Innovation & Workflow Optimization: Proactively explore and apply modern tools, including AI, to automate repetitive tasks and enhance personal and team productivity. This includes using AI to assist with summarizing meeting notes, drafting communications, or optimizing reporting workflows, bringing an innovative mindset to daily work.
  • Team Culture & Collaboration: Actively contribute to defining and nurturing a strong, positive, and inclusive team culture. Ensure the team is aligned on core values, best practices, and effective ways of working together.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Producer, Project Manager, or Scrum Master role within a software development environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple dependencies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in release management, integration processes, and incident response.

    Preferred:

    • Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment and familiarity with its ceremonies and roles (RTE, Product Manager, Engineering Lead).
    • Demonstrated interest in using AI tools for productivity and workflow automation.
    • SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe for Teams) is a strong plus.
