Job Description:

  • Responsible for projects/relationships and their delivery as per plan and associated performance measures along with Program Manager, Project Director and Technical Architect
  • Manage scope, budget and project deliverables quality proactively
  • Using Project Management Tools
  • Providing Effort Estimations for Enhancements & Customization
  • Define project plans, track the progress of project deliverables and milestones versus original goals
  • Managed inter team dependencies and program's critical path
  • Contributed in FS and Design Reviews
  • Get the code review done by Technical Leads for critical modules & follow with team on corrective & preventive actions
  • Driven issue resolution and tracked project risks and manage them effectively with stakeholders
  • Direct and delegate responsibility to different team members
  • Maintain effective communication with Customer, other stakeholders
  • Proactive communication to raise issues and propose solutions to problems, including coordination with stakeholders to resolve issues as efficiently as possible
  • All appropriate documentation, status reports, and dashboards are delivered and updated
  • Established project goals and track goals through periodic analysis of project metrics
  • Assess satisfaction of completion criteria for deliverables and milestones
  • Provided periodic management phase reviews of project that measure progress of planned versus actual across various project parameters
  • Ensured that exit criteria are met when moving to the subsequent phases of the SDLC
  • Responsible for conducting project reviews, working committee meeting
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate responsibility at the project level
  • Conduct performance appraisal of project team members on project closure and communicate feedback to respective supervisors.

KRA:

  1. Preparing Project Working Group Updates and Review Jointly with Stakeholders on Weekly basis with RAG Status
  2. Daily Stand Ups / Scrum Agile Project Management, Team Management
  3. Updating POC and sharing Progress
  4. Hosting & participating in Design and Code Review Sessions with Customer representative
  5. Ensuring Collaboration & Training and KT with SME/BA, Technical Leads, Developers and Quality Assurance Team

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree with a good understanding of software engineering practices.

• 8-12 years of industry experience leading projects for product engineering companies.

• Technical Skills - J2EE, Weblogic / Websphere, XML, UML Oracle. These are must.

• A proven track record of successful project management and a demonstrated ability to organize, lead and manage across functions and organizations.

• Experience in managing or developing products and solutions in the BFSI Space. Preferably in Trade and Supply Chain, Payments & Corporate Banking domain

• Must possess a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives (with varying levels of complexity) from start-up to successful completion.

• Individual needs to be a result oriented self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and excellent project and personal organizational skills.

• Must be a team player/leader with a demonstrated ability to communicate with skills in leadership, communication, initiative, planning, organization, problem solving and multi-tasking with all levels of co-workers and stakeholders.

• Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally.

• PMP / other project management certification/s strongly preferred
