The team

Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam is part of a 300 strong global delivery network, supporting Hitachi Digital Services around the globe. Our employees collaborate with teams in Japan, India, Portugal, and the US, servicing customers worldwide and working on a huge variety of projects. From cloud migration to digital modernization and advanced analytics, offering operational excellence, agile delivery, and plenty of energy to work on huge transformation projects for our customers.

The role

The Japanese Speaking Project Manager should be to manage complex projects while ensuring smooth communication between cross-functional teams and Japanese-speaking stakeholders. Main responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, overseeing project milestones, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, and be prepared for occasional travel to Japan.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 5 years of managing software development projects with Japanese clients.
  • Possess excellent communication skills in Japanese, with a minimum of N2 level proficiency.
  • Strong experience in applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet project requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies is mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn and understand the Energy domain.
  • Strong English communication skills are preferred.
  • PMP Certificate is a plus.
