Job Summary:
Our client (a fast-growing digital banking group) is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Integration Platform Lead to join their team! This is a vital role where you will design and lead the development of powerful integration solutions across digital banking, ensuring our systems communicate seamlessly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers. Work closely with other departments, such as product team, and operations, to support cross-functional projects.
- Lead Solution Design: Architect, design, and implement integration solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and high-performing. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Define Integration Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with our business goals and technology roadmap.
- Oversee Platform Management: Manage the integration platform, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance. Ensure systems run smoothly and securely at all times.
- Ensure Security & Compliance: Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, implementing security measures to protect data integrity and privacy.
Requirements
Must have skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 8+ years of IT integration experience, with 2+ years in a lead role
- Proven experience with AWS services and their application in integration scenarios.
- Proven experience with WSO2, MuleSoft, and Kong for API design and development.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2 implementations and API security.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java or Python) and Agile project management.
- Solid experience in leading and managing a small team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability
- Actively support team members’ growth through guidance and feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude toward learning, and a curious mindset
- Effective communication skills to motivate and engage cross-functional teams.
Nice to have skill:
- API design and modeling (Swagger)
- Middleware and enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions
- Knowledge of compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR)
- TOGAF
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
