We are seeking a highly motivated Automation QA Engineer with a passion for quality and automation. You will ensure the reliability of our microservices and expanding product reach by developing and maintaining a robust automation framework. This includes API and contract testing, as well as end-to-end testing between IoT devices and Cloud services, ensuring product quality and accessibility compliance while minimizing manual QA effort

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for microservices based on existing frameworks
  • Write and execute automated API tests utilizing REST and gRPC protocols
  • Implement automated tests for end-to-end scenarios involving IoT devices and cloud services
  • Integrate automated tests into existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and address concerns
  • Report identified defects and contribute to product improvement
  • Participate in code reviews to improve test automation approaches

Requirements:
  • Expertise with REST and gRPC protocols for API and contract testing
  • Extensive experience in building and optimizing testing pipelines for microservices
  • Advanced proficiency in using API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., RestAssured, Pact, Postman)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python)
  • Deep understanding of various test automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
