Job Description

Job Purpose:

Gameloft for Brands has an exciting opportunity for a Frontend Developer to join our team, working on creating best-in-class web-based and mobile-based products supporting the company’s efforts (consumer and corporate applications, game sites).

Frontend Developer is responsible for web application logic and works hand in hand with Mobile Developers on integration. He develops scripts and implements coding for various websites using Javascript based on NodeJS, ReactJS, Cocos Creator,… to create dynamic applications. Since these applications are mainly hosted on the cloud as AWS, some experience on the cloud infrastructure will be a plus, to automatize recurrent operations.

Integrated on Agile team that focuses on continuous improvement both with what we develop and how we develop it, the frontend developer will be part of stand-ups, sprint planning, and all that usual stuff, with the main goal is to find new and better ways to work for today and tomorrow for the whole division. We use and build reusable code and libraries for future use, which are approved after auditing by our security department. The importance on security, performance, and on code quality are what make us different from others.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform web and legacy system development, update and support
• Create and maintain technical documentation linked with the solution developed
• Share and assist with colleagues on web application development and functionality
• Suggest any improvements linked to security, performance, and the raising of the existing environments
• Work with the infrastructure team to find innovative solution
• Provides production support
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Experience:

• Experience with Node.js / TypeScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Experience with Frontend web (ReactJS)
• Experience with Coco Creator is a plus
• Experience with AWS is a plus
• Experience with SQL databases, and NoSQL is a plus
• Experience with Gitlab, Bitbucket, Docker and CI/CD is a plus

Knowledge:

• Knowledge in JavaScript, CSS and framework NodeJS / TypeScript / ReactJS
• Experienced with web frontend development
• Experienced with cloud platforms is a plus

Work hours: 08:30 A.M. - 06:00 P.M, Monday to Friday.
