Our client is a top-notch company specialized in technology who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-border frontend engineering teams, ensuring strong collaboration and code quality (Japan and Vietnam).
- Set the direction for frontend technologies by shaping the technical vision, architectural standards, and future growth roadmap.
- Develop high-quality web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
- Ensure rigorous standards in code quality, user experience, performance, and accessibility are consistently met.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to achieve shared objectives.
- Foster knowledge sharing, implement modern development methodologies, and promote CI/CD automation.
- Take ownership of maintaining and enhancing the frontend development environment and workflows.
- Support the growth and professional development of junior and mid-level engineers through coaching and guidance.
Requirements
- Possess 8+ years of experience in building web applications, with over 5 years concentrated on frontend development.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience delivering production systems using React.js and Next.js.
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript, strong proficiency with TypeScript, and solid command of HTML/CSS fundamentals.
- Experienced in implementing test automation using tools like Jest, Mocha, or similar.
- Familiar with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and cloud environments such as AWS.
- Proven ability to lead technical strategy, establish engineering guidelines, and mentor development teams.
- Fluent in English, with communication skills equivalent to TOEIC 750 or higher, evaluated during the hiring process.
- Excels in cross-cultural environments and has experience collaborating with or managing engineers in both Vietnam and Japan.
- Embraces teamwork, fosters continuous improvement, and drives innovation.
- Possesses a mindset beyond coding, with solid understanding of business impact, user experience, and long-term product value.
- Demonstrates a keen enthusiasm for technology and a dedicated commitment to creating user-focused products.
- Proactively identifies and addresses challenges, consistently driving both the team and products toward successful outcomes.
- Possesses experience in leading frontend development initiatives within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Deep knowledge of web security best practices, performance tuning, and design system implementation.
- Experienced with GraphQL APIs, automated testing via Playwright, UI prototyping using Storybook, and configuring build processes using Babel and webpack.
