Job Description
As a Field Quality Engineer, you will serve exclusively as a dedicated inspector for an assigned client and report directly to their Product Quality Director. You will follow the production across the development/manufacturing life cycle from early development testing and assessments, through pre-production meetings and capability evaluations and throughout the manufacturing process up to the point of shipment.
The main responsibilities include:
Meeting with each supplier to align on production locations and schedules
Coordinating with the client's Testing Manager in Hong Kong to ensure supplier testing and development timelines are met
Overseeing processes in the factories, including SOPs, quality manuals, and records of destruction
Conducting inline and final inspections
Communicating and reporting back to the client in the US
Qualifications
It could be you if you have:
A college degree or above in apparel or related fields
Experience of more than 3 years in quality management
Practical experience with Softline industry
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations
Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics
