Enterprise Architecture Operation

ABOUT THE JOB: 

We are seeking a candidate to fill an Architecture Practice role who will play a pivotal part in delivering, maintaining, and advancing architecture services and practices within the Strategy & Architecture (S&A) function. This role directly supports S&A practitioners, Leadership Team members and executives in driving consistent, scalable, and high-impact architectural outcomes. 

A key focus of this position will be to support, maintain and enhance the operational integrity and maturity of a model that monitors the modernisation of the Technology estate at NAB. This model is implemented within ServiceNow based on CMDB data, and your responsibility will be to ensure this model is operating correctly by Architecture practitioners, including its data, controls, processes, and governance.  

The successful candidate will help ensure that the model continues to serve as a reliable and strategic lens through which we measure and drive technology modernisation across the enterprise. 

While supporting and operating this model, you will be providing training and support to architecture practitioners for their day-to-day activities, which includes architects that are co-located with you in the Vietnam offices.  

Main Responsibilities:

• Supporting the operation of the technology modernisation model. This has been implemented using ServiceNow, leveraging the CMDB as the system of record of underlying data, controls and processes. 

• The creation, prioritisation, testing & delivery of features within ServiceNow to support the model and related processes; 

• Identify areas for improvement within Architecture processes and policies, working with stakeholders to identify and document requirements to enable architects to deliver architecture services faster and with better data. 

• Assist with Internal and External Audits 

• The maintenance of architecture artefacts, guidance and knowledgebase articles and documentation 

• Provide training, answering queries & supporting Architecture practitioners with the delivery of all Architecture services. 
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

You will bring the following skills and experience: 

• 5+ years experience in the Technology industry, including in both operational & delivery roles. 

• 2+ years Architecture or Design Experience desirable with developing or running agile practices in large organisations with regulatory and legacy constraints. 

• Experience with features / functions of ServiceNow (APM, Enterprise Architecture), Sharepoint Online (O365), Confluence and Rally; 

• Experience with producing reporting via Excel (pivot tables, moderate skills of using functions, macros etc…) 

• Strong data analytical and reporting skills with the ability to investigate and determine root cause and / or surface insights from data; 

• Ability to write user-stories for feature development in Rally; 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Critical thinking and curiosity to understand problems and determine solutions.  

• Ability to work in a complex environment and manage and prioritise competing streams of work 

Other capabilities (technical) 

• Clarity and Signavio skills desirable but not essential. 

• Experience with Source code control technologies – GitHub etc. 

• Experience with enterprise-grade reporting tools (ie. Power BI etc..) 

• Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).  

• Cloud certifications desirable but not essential.
