Job Purpose:
Ensure that Electrical & Electronic (EE) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components and systems meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets through structured verification, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Support development milestones, integrate lessons learned, and drive industry best practices into the early stages of engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Deployment & Verification:
- Analyze market and customer requirements; support PALS (Product Attribute Leadership Strategy) to break down EE/ADAS targets.
- Conduct design verification during each milestone to ensure vehicle EE/ADAS performance meets targets.
- Report performance status clearly at each milestone and escalate issues proactively.
- Quality Planning & Lessons Learned:
- Integrate lessons learned from previous programs into current QCD guidelines.
- Promote first-time-right engineering through visualized and parameterized quality input at the concept phase.
- Process & System Improvement:
- Develop and maintain QA policies and procedures aligned with EE/ADAS development needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to systems, standards, and cost optimization.
- Reporting & Governance:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of EE/ADAS quality metrics, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Support internal/external audits and align with VF's reporting standards and governance policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EE/ADAS quality, manufacturing quality, or automotive product assurance.
- Experience with design verification, problem-solving tools, and product lifecycle management.
- Familiar with ISO standards, DFMEA, PFMEA, and APQP.
- Strong communication and reporting skills; cross-functional coordination experience.
