Job Purpose:

Ensure that Electrical & Electronic (EE) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components and systems meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets through structured verification, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Support development milestones, integrate lessons learned, and drive industry best practices into the early stages of engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Target Deployment & Verification:
    • Analyze market and customer requirements; support PALS (Product Attribute Leadership Strategy) to break down EE/ADAS targets.
    • Conduct design verification during each milestone to ensure vehicle EE/ADAS performance meets targets.
    • Report performance status clearly at each milestone and escalate issues proactively.
  • Quality Planning & Lessons Learned:
    • Integrate lessons learned from previous programs into current QCD guidelines.
    • Promote first-time-right engineering through visualized and parameterized quality input at the concept phase.
  • Process & System Improvement:
    • Develop and maintain QA policies and procedures aligned with EE/ADAS development needs.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to systems, standards, and cost optimization.
  • Reporting & Governance:
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of EE/ADAS quality metrics, risks, and mitigation actions.
    • Support internal/external audits and align with VF's reporting standards and governance policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EE/ADAS quality, manufacturing quality, or automotive product assurance.
  • Experience with design verification, problem-solving tools, and product lifecycle management.
  • Familiar with ISO standards, DFMEA, PFMEA, and APQP.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills; cross-functional coordination experience.
