Purpose of role:
Ecommerce Manager role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce industry trends, effective e- merchandising strategies, and in-depth knowledge on purchasing paths from call-to-actions to landing pages.
This role will work closely with the distributor and regional & local team. Drives the business result and brand image of Blackmores on the digital platforms by implementing the defined strategy, the consumer activation plan and campaigns, including e-retailer content and user experience.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitate strategic intent:
- Identifies commercial opportunities in the market to foster sustainable growth for the Blackmores business
- Enables business development, drives proposed activities to increase customer reach and sales performance, manage channel related projects
- Provides insights and recommendations to drive additional traffic and sales
Online platform management:
- Develops and executes strategic plans to optimize the company's presence on e- marketplaces, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage, monitor, and evaluate product listings, pricing strategies, promotions (e.g., bundles, PWP, GWP), and inventory levels across multiple online channels to maximize sales and profitability.
- Ensures brand governance principles on digital presence and platforms are compliant
Omnichannel integration:
- Ensures effective liaison with all Blackmores sales channels to deliver consistent omnichannel consumer experience and an effective consumer feedback loop
- Analyzes and identifies developments and trends across the consumer journey and the market, implement forecasting models to ensure accurate prescriptive analysis and planning, and optimal investment allocation across channels
- Collaborate with distributors and internal function (sales, marketing, education, supply chain, RA, etc.) to find the optimum new customer acquisition and activation strategy
Partnership Management:
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with e-marketplace partners, online platforms, and third-party service providers, including MT customers and other relevant channels.
- Ensure profitable partnerships whilst exploring joint marketing opportunities, negotiating contractual terms, and resolving issues to drive mutual growth and success
- Manage, monitor, and report the sales target and by collecting data and delivering reports on market performance and promotion performance KPIs (GMV, conversion, sell-thru, traffic, engagement across platforms, promotion ROI, etc.)
- Collaborates with distributors, sales, marketing, supply chain, RA, creative, media, and digital teams to ensure store readiness and campaign alignment.
Livestream Execution & Affiliate Program Management
- Plans and executes livestream sessions across platforms, manages calendars, sets KPIs, and ensures session optimisation.
- Recruits and manages affiliate creators via seller center; tracks performance and supports influencer seeding.
Content & Campaign Planning:
- Develops and aligns e-commerce and social commerce campaign calendars and content with broader sales and marketing objectives.
- Leverages platforms such as Data Studio, Power BI, affiliate dashboards, and retailer.com portals to track and optimize performance.
- Pilot new e-commerce features including live-exclusive promotions, affiliate bundles, in-app advertising, and competitive pricing tools.
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the healthcare, beauty, or personal care industry.
- In-depth knowledge of e-marketplace platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok and other relevant online channels, including their features, trends, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Leadership experience, with a track record of driving results, fostering teamwork, and developing talent.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry developments
