PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Brand Development
• Contractor Development
• Dual Sourcing Development
• Development Communication with US, VN, and HK Offices
• Development Communication with Asia Vendors
• Create Artwork / Layouts for Brand and Contractor Developments
• Adjust Brand and Contractor Artwork Layout to Vendors
• Prepare RPQ/FQ Forms for Vendor
• Prepare RPQ/FQ Pricing for US, VN, and HK Offices
• Manage Customer Standards and Delivery to Vendors
• Process Sample Requests with Vendors
• Share Sample Ready Dates with US, VN and HK Offices
• Meet with PD Team to Review New and Pending Developments
• Create Sample POs to Vendors
• Collaborate with Shipping Department on Freight Cost Exercises as Needed
• Prepare Sample Shipments to US and HK Offices
• Manage and Update Tools as Needed (Pantone Books, Illustrator, Etc.)
• Proactive Expected Samples Tracking

 PRODUCTION SUPPORT

• Create Layouts for Daily Orders as Needed
• Create Item Codes in NetSuite as Needed
• Prepare Post Production Shipment Samples to US and HK Office
• Organized Approved Sample Cards for Warehouse QAQC Support

TESTING

• Arrange Product Testing with Vendors
• Arrange Fabric Testing with Vendors (Application)

CERTIFICATIONS

• Gather Product Certifications from Vendors
• Gather Compliance Certifications from Vendors

 NEW SUPPLIER/PRODUCT QUALIFICATIONS

• Manage new supplier/product qualification requests
• Meet/visit factories as needed

 Experience:  

Three years of office experience in a trim company with an emphasis on product knowledge and product development.

Demonstrates excellent product and development knowledge with high skill level of collaborating with vendors to achieve development accurately and timely.

Demonstrates strong ability to work independently.
