Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading activities with media and content creators in Vietnam to manage the company’s corporate reputation and communicate Apple’s contributions locally. The role focuses on key areas such as economic contribution, culture and education, customer privacy, and environmental leadership.
The responsibilities include:
Strategic planning and execution, identifying and managing issues in a fast-paced environment and continuous news cycle.
Work in partnership with members of broader Corporate Communications & PR team as well as cross-functional teams to create strategies and deliver campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of Apple in Vietnam.
Work collaboratively with the wider management team in the region and also be tightly coordinating with the SEA PR team to support and drive the understanding of Apple’s values in Vietnam.
Build new relationships amongst the talent and communities that use our products to deliver the world’s most exciting work, and will be tasked with leading our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years demonstrated experience in PR, with exposure to corporate and/or policy communications or public affairs from agency and/or in-house where you have successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have created significant impact.
Experience in media relations and have developed a network of media contacts in creative, tech, design and cultural platforms.
Proficiency in Vietnamese and English is required.
Ability to travel up to 20% of your time.

Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions. Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change. Solid experience working in a highly regulated environment and with government affairs, legal and business governance teams.
Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Analyses complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs.
