[Bosch R&D] - Web Application Developer - Intern

Company Description

• Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture pushbelt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering R&D center (Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd).
• In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, pushbelt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Job Description

Work with digitalization team to build up internal web applications, including

• Understand business process, user's pain points that lead to the need of an internal web application.
• Build a business case with estimated benefit, main application features, ...
• Create user stories, UI/UX by collaborating with digitalization team and relevant stakeholders.
• Build the web application using low code platform OutSystem.
• Track & share progress, challenges, proposal of solutions.
• Define test plan, test cases, conduct and document test result.
• Continue to improve web application based on user's feedback.

Qualifications

• Last year student major in software engineering, computer science or equivalent fields, commit to a full-time 6-month internship.
• Strong ownership mindset: willing to take challenging tasks, actively work on obstacles and come up with proposals.
• Good at computational problem-solving ability (analyze complex problem, build up hypothesis with logical reasoning, verify hypothesis and implement solution with code).
• Experience with UI/UX, software development using low code platform OutSystem.
• Knowledgeable about CSS, JavaScript, APIs, SQL database.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technology, able to work independently.
