Backend Support Engineer

1. Bug Fixing and Enhancements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and implement solutions for system defects and enhancements. Utilize your expertise in JavaScript (NodeJS), HTML/CSS, .NET, and C# to resolve technical issues and improve system functionality.
   
2. Service Level Agreement (SLA) Adherence: Contribute to fulfilling the Service Level Agreement by promptly addressing technical issues and deploying system engineers to site as required.
   
3. Defect Resolution:Take ownership of defect reports from customers and ensure timely resolution within the stipulated SLA period.
   
4. Change Request Implementation:  Participate in identifying, evaluating, and implementing change requests to contribute to the continuous improvement of the system.
   
5. Routine Maintenance:** Perform regular monthly maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and ad-hoc tasks, to uphold the system's stability and optimal performance.
   
6. System Performance and Reliability:** Diagnose and address system bugs, downtimes, user-related problems, and performance issues that affect users' ability to utilize the system effectively.
   

Requirements

• Proven 3+ years of experience as a Back-End Support Engineer or in a similar role.
  
• Proficiency in the following technologies:
  
• JavaScript, particularly NodeJS.
  
• HTML/CSS for web interface design and development.
  
•  .NET framework and C# for backend development.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting.
  
• Excellent English communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Prior experience in adhering to SLAs and delivering high-quality customer service.
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration.
  
• Detail-oriented mindset and dedication to delivering reliable solutions.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
