Senior Linux Software Engineer (Shell script, C/C++ nice to have)

What You Will Be Doing:

• Configuring/customizing Linux distributions like Ubuntu, and automating tasks through scripting

• Monitoring Linux applications, services, system performance and security
• Researching feasibility of implementations as a proof of concept; Troubleshooting issues on Linux environment and outages
• Shell script programming is needed to complete your tasks

• Collaborating with teams like software engineering on interesting Linux projects
• C++ as a plus if you can develop, implement and test the product using C++ on Linux environment. If not, no-worry we have seniors here

What We Need From You: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related major
• Linux understanding (U-boot, Linux kernel, Yocto,..), as a big plus if you have personal projects/hobbies to dive deep into Linux
• Good coding and debugging skills
• Good programming skills using Shell script, C/C++
• Strong in reasoning, critical thinking, able to work independently when needed
• Productivity mindset, so you can be proud of

It Would Be Nice If You Had 

• Chroot, MBR/GPT, partition layout, boot loader (grub), systemd,...

• Knowledge or experience in developing computer/network security related products
• Knowledge or experience with git, bitbucket, jira, confluence, TeamCity
• Experience with agile / scrum working environment
