JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you play a crucial role within the Development Team, ensuring the quality of our product. Your responsibilities include evaluating and analysing requirements and actively shaping acceptance criteria. You will develop detailed test plans and test cases and conduct various types of tests, such as functional, smoke, and regression testing. Ultimately, you aim to ensure our product meets the highest standards before delivery to the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements Evaluation:
    • Analysing requirements, specifications, and user stories.
    • Defining and refining the acceptance criteria
  • Test Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborating with the team to create test plans covering various testing activities (e.g., functional, regression, smoke, system integration, performance).
    • Developing and executing test cases.
  • Issue Management:
    • Reporting and verifying bug fixes.
    • Actively troubleshooting, supporting the replication of production issues and cooperating with developers to resolve the issues.
  • Demo and Quality Assessment:
    • Conducting demos for bugs, features, or sprints.
    • Evaluating project quality and promptly escalating quality issues to managers when necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in Web Application Testing.
  • Must be proficient in software testing methodologies, processes and tools (e.g. JIRA, TestLink).
  • Must have experience presenting and demoing for a sprint, feature, or bug.
  • Must have good written and spoken English communication skills
  • A strong teamwork ethic is essential.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Familiarity with testing on the Salesforce platform or CRM Systems. 
  • Experienced in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Application Testing.
  • Familiarity with Automation Testing Concepts. 
  • Experienced working within Agile methodology.
  • Beneficial to have a working knowledge of the Atlassian Suite, JIRA, Confluence and Service Desk.
