The Position
We are seeking a passionate Junior Instructional Designer to join our fast-growing online training team. At OPSWAT Academy, our E-Learning platform has achieved tremendous success, and we are excited to welcome a talented individual to help us build on this momentum. As a Junior Instructional Designer, you will collaborate with team members and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create dynamic and impactful cybersecurity training materials.
What you will be doing
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Assist in identifying and organizing content to align with defined learning objectives.
- Course Development: Design intuitive and engaging course materials, leveraging tools like Articulate 360: Storyline and Rise to create and revise instructional content.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure course materials meet established standards of excellence.
- LMS Basic Administration: Monitor user enrollment and access, while supporting basic administrative tasks on WorkRamp or similar platforms.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for course materials, project progress, and reports.
What We Need From You
- Proficiency in English with excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with exceptional presentation skills.
- Familiarity with eLearning development tools, such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
- Basic skills in photo and video editing to enhance training content.
- A solid foundation in cybersecurity concepts, including penetration testing, blue/red team exercises, and general security principles.
- Genuine passion for technology and a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
It Would Be Nice If You Have
- Previous experience in cybersecurity training or related fields.
- Experience with educational technology platforms.
- Familiarity with Jira or other agile workforce management tools.
