Due to our continuous growth and expansion, we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Engineering team to work in a dynamic, agile environment, where your contributions have a direct impact on the security and technological advancement of Vault Cloud's offerings.This is a remote role and is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of developing and integrating cutting-edge cloud products that protect some of Australia’s most critical data. 


You will be responsible for:

  • Engaging in crafting reliable and user-friendly platforms, utilizing a mix of third-party, open-source, and custom software to deliver solutions that meet our customers' complex needs. 
  • Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with product teams to understand and design products that align with customer requirements, ensuring that Vault’s cloud services are not only robust and secure but also leading the way in innovation. 
  • You will also contribute to the optimization of our delivery processes, applying modern practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with: 

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience deploying, upgrading, OpenStack projects and or Ceph leveraging infrastructure as code. 
  • Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Profound operational experience with cloud solutions, specifically OpenStack for computing and Ceph for storage.
  • Automation and Configuration Management: Advanced skills with automation and configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform, essential for creating and managing scalable and reliable infrastructure.
  • Container Orchestration: Practical experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, reflecting the modern, microservices-oriented approach to infrastructure that Vault Cloud is embracing.
