Job Description

  • Lead the development and launch of products from concept to delivery

  • Support both cross functional and cross regional teams to ensure the successful management of Visa's core and emerging products in Vietnam and Laos

  • Drive sales related to Consumer products, train, educate and provide guidance to Visa country staff on program selection

  • Drive development of marketing and strategic alliances to enhance consumer product functionality and usage at the point-of-sale locations

  • Provide direction, thought leadership, best practice materials and turnkey tools to clients and the sales team to maximize Visa card portfolio growth

  • Provide insights and recommendations on portfolio management, including acquisition, activation, usage and retention, to help issuers identify new segment opportunities and develop product value proposition strategies

  • Work with issuers in the ongoing evaluation, management, synthesis, and development of product line strategies, including new product platform launches

  • Identify, prioritize and develop product, platform, market and or service innovations to protect and grow existing revenue streams and to grow new revenues for assigned products.

  • Lead the development of guidelines, policies, practices, and procedures in relation to Visa's core product platforms

  • Responsible for the core product budget where there is a need to maximize investments decisions and ensure activities are managed according to the forecast and plan

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required, MBA would be an advantage
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in retail banking financial services with demonstrated expertise in product development and or marketing communications.
  • Familiarity with product management and technologies and systems used in payment.
  • Deep understanding of banking operations and or payment schemes, including products and services
  • Wide knowledge of how the brand, product platforms, and rules interact for existing and new payment solutions
  • Good commercial acumen with product line PnL responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are needed to influence direction and change attitudes and decisions of senior level international bankers
  • Strong self management skills with demonstrable drive and energy
  • Possess customer facing as well as sales experience, and proven negotiation skills
  • Own professional knowledge and skills across a range of functions including strategy, marketing, operations, budgetary accounting, and administration
  • Strategic and innovative thinker who is also capable of strong execution
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, to work at all levels
  • Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management, including the ability to work effectively within the Country team, and between different geographical regions
