Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst working for our Gameloft studio located at Lilama Building (Hanoi city).


Principal Accountabilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Collecting data from primary and secondary sources to ensure comprehensive data coverage. 
  • Perform analysis and extract valuable insights from collected data. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to gaming performance and user engagement. 
  • Develop informative and visually engaging reports and dashboards to communicate data findings effectively. 
  • Present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and comprehensible manner. 

Game Design & Development Collaboration: 

  • Provide regular KPI reports for projects handled by HAN Studio. 
  • Collaborate closely with game team to understand their objectives and data requirements. 
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to enhance game design, improve features, and boost game KPIs. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, gaming platforms, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights for data analysis that lead to informed decision-making. 
  • Contribute to the development of gaming strategies and features that meet market demands and exceed player expectations, resulting in increased engagement and revenue growth. 

Studio Data Skills and Practices: 

  • Maintain data integrity and security standards to protect sensitive information. 
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by identifying and rectifying data quality issues. 
  • Have access to all useful databases (e.g. S3 AWS/Datalake, Elephant DB, etc.) to ensure that the data sent by the games is available where expected and in the expected format. 
  • Responsible for the trackers quality and serve as the main point of contact for the Studio regarding any queries related to trackers. 
  • Provide support and trainings to help improve Data Skills across projects in the studio.

Qualifications

Knowledge: 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst in Game/Tech companies.
  • Understanding of data security and integrity best practices. 
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with databases, including S3 AWS/Datalake and Elephant DB. 

Skills: 

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies such as JupyterHub, Python, SQL, etc. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Professional English competency. Good communication skills. 
  • Strong cross-departmental collaboration and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience with maintaining data quality and integrity. 
  • High presentation and reporting skills.
