Sunbytes is looking for an Application Support Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance our systems and applications. This role will provide timely resolutions to technical issues while identifying opportunities to optimize application performance and streamline workflows. By leveraging your expertise, you will play a significant role in supporting user adoption, delivering training, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications across the organization.
Job Requirements
- System Management and Optimization: Manage company systems, including setup and configuration of workflows, processes, and ticket automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to identify inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions to enhance performance.
- Request Management: Act as the primary contact for user requests, ensuring reliable service delivery that meets business needs.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Provide comprehensive support during UAT and post-deployment to ensure successful implementation of updates or new systems.
- Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain detailed documentation, user manuals, and training materials to support system users and facilitate onboarding.
- Routine Maintenance: Oversee regular upgrades, configuration updates, and security compliance to maintain system integrity.
- Other duties: Other duties as assigned by Head of Facility Department.
Technical skills:
- Proven 3+ years of experience in application support or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of system workflows, ticketing tools, and automation processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining system documentation.
- Familiarity with user training and knowledge-sharing practices.
